I actually did my butchering today from Costco. Got a prime New York strip loin that yielded ten monster steaks plus I got their sirloin steaks for the two kids, who have quickly gone from barely eating to housing a full sized cut of steak themselves. They’re barely human, so I can’t justify getting them a prime cut. Yet.Yeah, I think I cooked those two steaks for a combined total of under 6 minutes.
I got a great deal on them though. I work at a Costco, and our meat department was selling them for $60 per pound.
Why not? Too fatty?
