Yep... Knies couldn't do it without Marner. Knies now has 22 5v5 goals, only 5 primary assists from Gretz...Marner. Matthews has 8 primary assists on Knies goals though, in less mins than Marner. Guess Matthews is a playmaker first now.

Marner...always blessed with amazing linemates.

I don’t think I could take a 7 game series like that, but that feeling when Knies scored was absolutely next level.

Knies is easily my favourite Leaf right now. Couldn’t wait to see what we had in him, and he’s arrived. Plays the right way and is the kind of player you win with.

That pass by Matthews was next level. For sure Vasi was expecting a shot so there's some IQ involved there. Where the hell were the Tampa players though letting Knies stand there like that? Coop will be pissed.

The dangle before the pass was nice as well. Nice play by Rielly as well after he was ready to change, and he kind of started that whole play by letting Point's pass go straight through him on the 2 on 1, nobody does that better.

If he signs a long term deal he will quickly become a major fan favourie beyond his current stature and, he will earn plenty in endorsements since he is the power forward Leaf fans love and haven't had in many years. We used to have many power forwards in any era of the teams existence

Leafs win in regulation if the game is called fair. Tampa also gets to constantly play teams on back to backs. Their next 3 games are teams on a B2B because other teams play Florida while they sit around, just like they did with the Leafs.
