I feel like we have one of these threads most years, if not every year. So even if we didn't last year (I can't even remember anymore. Time is an illusion) I just wanted to say happy holidays to everyone on HF Sharks, wish you all a great holiday season however you celebrate and make the standard inquiries about whether or not anyone got any cool Sharks swag as gifts.

And while it hasn't always been smooth I also wanted to thank everyone for a mostly enjoyable year on HFSharks and look forward to the new year and the rest of what is hopefully a long and fruitful Celebrini era for the Sharks.

I didn't get anything hockey related, but we bought my beer league playing son-in-law some hockey tape and a butt end for his stick from Buttendz.

Celebrini jersey

Thank you Santa

Nice. How is the quality? I really want a Celebrini jersey but I struggle with the fact that Fanatics has such a crappy history with how cheap it is and how terrible their QC is that I don't want to get burned on something that has a plastic crest that's misaligned or misshapen stripes or whatever.

I didn't get anything Shark-specific, but I did get a box of 24-25 Upper Deck series 1 cards. No Celebrini in this set it appears, but I could find rookies for Mukhamadullin or Graf. I actually have like 8 years of cards I haven't opened yet because I keep forgetting about them, so who knows what I'll end up finding in them. Maybe a Ryan Merkley rookie card!

Otherwise it was a pretty normal Christmas haul for me. a couple of Transformers, some reprints of classic Star Wars books (including the novelization of the original trilogy), Godzilla Minus One on blu-ray to keep my collection up to date, the new Zelda game, and an expansion for a board game I have. I'll probably have unnecessary pics tomorrow :P

I'm no jersey nerd, I could never manage to justify pulling the trigger on that big a purchase for any piece of clothing, so I'm definitely not the best resource to tap if you're looking for someone to discern quality, take my opinions very lightly, as one should on any topic

I got whatever the $130ish tier of jersey is from the Sharks pro shop, and it's definitely got heat pressed numbers, logos and name plate that lack the depth and detail of the authentic product, though all the patches do seem to be some kind of fabric and not pieces of plastic and everything seems to be aligned properly

All I really cared if that It fits comfortably without being irritating, I wore it for the whole 3 hour car ride back home from family festivities and it was like wearing any other shirt or jacket

Thanks. If the crest and shoulder patches are legit embroidered again and not just plastic patches that might be interesting. I can deal with cheap heat-pressed name/number by the fact that I'd just take it to my local pro shop and have it properly sewn on like the rest of my jerseys, but I didn't want to get something that would potentially have crooked elements or a fake, non-embroidered plastic crest like you get on stuff like replica baseball jerseys now.

I do caution you to check with someone who knows better than I do about the patches, for all I know they are some kind of plastic, but they are soft enough to me that I think they're fabric

I know nothing about garments, lol, just love my team
