You were criticizing him and said "things like not throwing players under a bus"... that sounds like you want him to throw players under the bus.
And what players has he thrown under a bus?
Cool.
Show your work.
15 games is about right for putting in a guy like Hutson. He's not going to put him in on game one.
And honestly, if this is a major bone of contention for you I really don't know what to say. This is small potatoes.
Please spare me this stupid 'praying at the altar' crap.
And if you want to criticize him, cool. Nobody is stopping you. But if you do, be prepared to be rebutted. You don't like it? Don't go on a message board.
As I said, fine to criticize him. I disagree with some of his decisions. That's ALWAYS going to be the case with any coach. But the "he's a freaking idiot" for putting Hutson in PP1 at game 15 is silly. And it's understandable why he's made the decisions he has even if I don't necessarily agree with it.
And you can't ignore the roster limitations here. Don't want him to play Savard? Okay, neither do I. But who does he put there? Is he supposed to put X and Struble in the same lineup? These guys are still developing and we're going to put one of them on their wrong side? I mean...
Look at how much our team improved when we got Carriere. All of a sudden we could at least defend sometimes. Was it MSL's fault that he wasn't in the lineup earlier? You can't just ignore the context of the situation and then blast the coach. If you're going to do that then you can expect your posts to get shredded. This isn't Therrien playing Desharnais as our number one or telling PK Subban to dump and chase... Those were clearly STUPID decisions. In this case MSL is doing things that I may not necessarily agree with but I can at least understand the rationale, esp considering how flawed our roster is right now.
