What makes you say his concepts are not being implemented? There's nothing simple about what the habs are doing. Simple is what Therrien was doing ("chip and chase"), which was effective but boring and limited in potential.

It's ok, I know it's hard to give him credit and everyone that dumped on him is scrambling to find an explanation that excludes him from the equation.

Playing Dobes in the 3rd period would not had killed him. The guy can play the following day no problem.
