The problem that keeps cropping up is Marty's real time game management sucks.
There are no two ways to look at this.

I'd like to know in how many post game interviews has Marty said "I have to look at the video"
What exactly are you looking at during the game?

Regardless of the fact that we are rebuilding I haven't seen our fan base this irate about bench management in a long long time.

I have a hard time seeing any other opportunities to improve coaching bigger than the one we just passed up on. Looks like management is ready to ride and die with MSL

I was thinking MSL is a stobborn coach, not wanting anyone to suggest/tell him/help him with the coaching stuff. Now I think Hugo decided it's MSL whatever happen, for the best or the worst. Well, from outside, this it how it looks.

Last year the team looked better with MoneyHands, he was like an older brother with the kids, releaving pressure from Suzuki. Now Suzuki is alone because Dach doesn't do the job. MSL still doesn't know some basic of coaching like time out or implement a system that works. Habs have the worst centerline of the NHL, Dvo who is an experienced nhler doesn't help developp the kids. By chance Heineman produce a little bit, despite that shitty team. Gally, Evans and even Anderson are doing relativly fine. Gally is the forward that works the hardest. But overall the team regress, it doesn't look good for the future.

We are still expecting some kind of miracle, a wake-up of Dach and Slaf. Or a trade that brings a center as good/or better than MoneyHand. A new player that can act as another leader in the locker room. And we need a true 1D, better than Matheson. And Savard is very slow, it's a disgrace. He was slow last year but acceptable, now he's slower.

How do you know? He’s lived year round in the US for the better part of last 30yrs, his wife is American and now teenage kids all have grown up there.

A gm have to take that kind of decision. We say sometimes the best trade are the one you don't make but when the Kings traded to get Carter I think it paid for them, they won 2 SC. We can be patient another year, or 2 or 3. Or HuGo can use some of his best assets to make a major trade. I trust him and I think he have some cards in his hands. We'll see.

The remixed version that came out in 2018 is really good. Might be controversial to say, but it feels like it could be my favourite Pink Floyd album.

Saw them at the Big Owe for the Animals tour.
What a complete mind blast and I was sober.
The Pig didn't inflate all the way but no one seemed to care.

I think it was the second concert in the Stadium ELP being the first if I recall correctly.
The gate crashing was a spectacle in itself as mad fans used the cement garbage receptacles as battering rams to breach the huge plexi-glass type windows.
I think the one thing that struck me most was the age diversity of the crowd running from 12-13 year olds to fifty year old biker types.

One of the best concerts ever that and Queen were by far my favorites.

Pink Floyd had 4 excellent albums in a row, starting with Meddle (still very underated), followed by the massive hit album DSOTM, Wish You Were Here (my favorite) and Animals. I hated The Wall.
I've read that Animal was some kind of home recording, away from the big studio. The album might suffer of a lower quality of recording, not having the depth of the others. But this what I've read, I find the album have a very good mixing in the final.

Monahan trade let to Michael Hage, so did Lehkonen. What about Kulak for Hutson? Is that good enough trade? Petry trade was excellent as well.

MSL, a former star player, Hughes, a former agent, these two clearly think first from the player point of view. In other words they are "pro players" in the sense that they think that if a player is not playing at his best there is an external factor to explain it, that the said player needs outside help, that the responsability of the failure is not in good part on the player himself.

Obviously most of the time the problem is mainly the responsability of the player, lack of effort, lack of concentration, poor preparation between games, poor life hygiene. Also, when many individual players have such deficiencies, it has an impact on the whole team and it affects players that are doing everything the right way. I think that's where tha Habs are right now. Too many paasengers and it affects those that prepare well and give the effort every game.

In the end it comes down to the head coach, and at some point to the GM, and Hughes is unlikely to fire MSL. That's where Gorton should come in and do his job. It's his role, to supervise the GM and protect him from himself. Bergevin's lacked such a supervisor to prevent him from doing his worst mistakes. Now Gorton is there to protect Hughes, so if things are not improving quickly, patience will need to run out, not on Hughes, on MSL. Gorton will have to make a move. It will shake the structure of the oranization, but I think it's needed. They can no longer hide behind the reconstruction excuse. We need to see improvement in the effort and the way this team plays. Now, nobody, coaches, players and GM, feel urgency. Hey, we are in reconstruction, it's the excuse to justify all failures. It has to end quickly. The last resort guy is Gorton.

We should’ve hired Montgomery when he was available. At least they have Vincent in the wings. He’s doing well in the AHL but keeping the big club roster organized is more important in my opinion. St. Louis has outlived his shelf life.

I swear I read something earlier this week about all these player legends who have been given a much longer leash as executives than non-player executives (Yzerman, Neely, etc.). I really hope that same effect doesn't happen with MSL. I'm not on the fire MSL bandwagon yet but when you observe a completely lost team, that has no fight/compete, and young players are regressing, and the body language and comments of players makes it appear like they're "no longer happy coming to the rink," it's hard not to remember that this is exactly what the criticisms of Ducharme were when he was canned.

Find someone with experience to finish the year, then revamp the whole staff in the summer.

If Molson is serious about this team winning he is going to have to take a stand and hire the absolute best coaches no matter what freaking language they speak.

It’s insane to have a pee wee head coach, a midget assistant, and a guy with a couple years assistant experience trying to guide a young team like this.

Why Dach played after his atrocious mistake on the equalizer? If you shoot from that angle from that far you need to hit the net, but he had no chance to score from about 40 feet with a wrister. He caught off guard three of his teamates movings toward the offensive zone. The right play was to softly dump the puck. Again, it shows no understanding of situational hockey. It seems coaches are not coaching, or Dach is just dumb, And to make things worst, Marty the genius, sent him on the ice at the end of overtime and we saw what happened. Way to go Marty!!!
