Channeling some of this guy vibes for Akira in the 3rd.

I’m not watching the intermissions. I’m trying to use them as time to get a few more steps in. So I’m out walking around during it.

But in regards to PK saying we should get Gibson, I clearly remember him saying last year during that late season Boston game that Blackwood played something like “I think we’re gonna see Mackenzie Blackwood in the playoffs!”

Yeah…….okay!

Yeah something’s off with him. Very tentative too, I thought he was going to smoke that guy in the corner last shift but he held back.
He's slow to accelerate but once he's going he's ok in a straight line but once he turns it's wide and slow, not stop and starts. He couldn't take a quick crossover step to grab that bad breakout pass either. What was the official injury he had? If they didn't say I'm really thinking it's either a groin or ankle that isn't 100%

I think it was speculated that it could have been a low grade knee sprain but that was never confirmed.

you know physical injuries can limit you mentally too

I suppose that is true. But he looked like kind of a dumb player when completely healthy last season. I think the injury might be making his dumb plays more noticable and impactful.

Timo had 11 pts in 11 gms prior to his groin injury. He was also getting a ton of shots.

He shall be given the benefit of the doubt. Just like Douglas with his injury in season 1 and Palat with his injury in his season 1 as well.

No need to pile it on the guy until we know he is back to 100%. Which unfortunately may not be until the offseason since it seems like its a groin.

Tbh I don't doubt Slaf might've developed better with us. Montreal seems to have trouble with high picks. He's stil very young though and I still like his potential.
I think he would have been better with us too, but he never had Nemec or Cooley upside.

He had no business being in the NHL last year. Nemec was always just better though (quite a few were)

I don’t think they said anything official but some here say it was a groin.
