Yup. Much improved defensively but their juice is gone.

Clearly Keefe has preached being more responsible. Have to wonder if the boys have that in the back of their mind a little bit too much at times. The hope would be to build the good defensive habits to where it becomes second nature and then the offence comes along with it eventually

Luke actually is coming back from injury while Dougie had an entire summer to heal, yet he gets the injury excuse

The odd take is anyone thinking Dougie is anything but our worst RHD this season

They are over passing in the offensive zone. They need to have more of a move it to a scoring area and shoot once it is there mentality. They are looking for slam dunk goals.

I think they'll probably win this game but there's too many stretches within games this season no matter who they played where they have looked lackluster offensively. kinda need it fixed fast for the upcoming gauntlet of games

Goes back to not neutering this team to where they better defensively but you zap their fun rush/uptempo system. It's similar to what happened with the Isles with Doug Weight v them under Trotz. Granted, we had a better track record of the uptempo system working for us in 22-23. It's just that they're slower as a team from that roster so they probably can't play like that with this team.

Palat at this point is like that old, rickety 1991 Chevy pickup that’s rotting away in your yard and doesn’t even run anymore. And all the neighbors are complaining about how much of an eyesore it is.
