I wanted more depth for my team.
It is impossible to get someone like Byfuglien and Reinhart at this point of the draft.

I still feel Sam Reinhart was taken too high. I say this as a huge fan of his. Would have picked him over Ekblad and Bennett before hindsight. But I still think he needs 1 more season in the A. For 15-16 I am more comfortable with Sam Bennett in the top 6 after what he's shown last year. I still think Sam is going to be a star center.

I think on value, you won the trade. But you lost high end C.

Personally, I think both teams would be better off if they didn't do the trade.

Getzlaf is a big big piece. I disagree. Him having Del Zotto and Byfuglien as the only two D made Byfuglien a less enticing player on paper for his team (every other team would want him)
