Friedman: The Leafs are very interested in Tyler Motte. Might take a top 40 pick for Canucks to move him.

The trouble with Leaf fans, is they think all offense
There is a reason why we beat you 2 games straight this year
Our depth is better than yours.....Motte is part of that
No, your goalie was better than ours….

Leafs shouldnt do anything. they are proving they are not worth sinking more assets into.
not sure there's a single move that turns anything around.
feels like the answer is an internal one.
and hopefully that answer is Jack Campbell coming back from injury and playing how he did before he fell off the map

Everyone needs to look at not only what he brings to the table, but how little salary he makes pro rated at the deadline. It’s like adding a top tier 3rd liner with tons of intangibles for peanuts. He fits into any contender want and his salary is easily absorbed. All part of doing Buisness.

LO............I have been waiting for your reply.......

First, off.................your team is better than ours
But, if you take Demko and Matthews away from their teams respectively
You have Toronto=Edmonton and Vancouver=NJ Devils
So, no, you can't use that! lol
Matthews is still the top goal scorer in the league, and Demko, maybe top 5?

Seriously, without any jabs
IMO, I truly think our 4th line is one of the top 3 in the league
And Motte would be a great addition to Toronto

IMO, from who I have seen go for a 1st
I mean Barclay Goodrow got a 1st from Tampa
and there is not that much difference in the 2
Motte would be a solid 2nd value at the TDL
and a great addition.......hey you can believe me or not

We took Matthews away tonight, won 4-0. Your second win was a team win, but that 1st one? That was pure Demko…dude went God mode.

I’m not knocking Motte, but bottom 6 forward is not the 1st priority….and not worth a 1st in my opinion.

Why would they be targeting Motte when Nick Paul plays in their division?

If you're dropping a top 40 pick on a rental, Nick Paul is the significantly more impactful player.

Ah look it’s another hilarious Canucks trade proposal by the same OP even though none of them have any credence or make sense value wise!

lol at thinking Motte is returning a 2nd rounder.
He might not be worth a second round pick, but we aren't exactly in a mood to trade him either. He is cheap and effective at his role, and he is in his prime at 27 years old. It will take an overpayment for us to trade him.

Would much rather trade a pick in that range for nick Paul. Hes just a better player all the way around.

The way that Thomas Drance says things or relays information often seem inexplicably annoying.

I sure hope not. Does not improve the Leafs roster whatsoever. Keep on walking Dubas.

The reason in one of the games was Demko stealing the game.

If Motte is worth a high 2nd rounder, than we should be able to flip Dermott for two 1st round picks:popcorn:
