I keep thinking with Necas' next contract being lower than anticipated, we might be able to keep him, but then I remember that TDA is gonna get a decent raise and that he'll still likely be squeezed out and get sad.

Didn't Smith loose his guy at the blue line leaving Bear to deal with a 2 on 1?

I mean the kid isn't that great. But I feel like he gets hung out to dry by his partner a lot. And the reason he catches so much flack from the fans is because he's the only guy in frame on the TV dealing with a 2 on 1 because his defensive partner got caught flat-footed at the blue line and neither of them have the speed to catch back up to the play?

Yeah realistically neither one did any favors there and that seems to be a theme. I’m fine with dumpstering the pairing entirely.

Some good performances here, definitely things to tighten up a bit but a nice win.
