Different Carrick. They signed him this offseason for the farm. He's been pretty neck and neck with Dineen for the best D down there this year.

No. Strangely its a different player. Last one was the first time I ever heard of that surname and now we have another. Sam Carrick is the guy we had.

Oilers are cornering the market on Connors. Theres a lot of them. Could build a 4Nations Connors team.

I assume Nurse's cap still counts when he's suspended... so I assume the team will still have to play the game with 17 skaters yet again.


Not that it really matters as to the game result which is meaningless... just that the healthy dmen on the Oilers have been playing a lot of minutes lately and you don't want your dmen overextended and risking even more injuries at this critical late stage of the season.

Would absolutely love if we had a Saturday game #4 here, but Rogers Place is booked that evening for the Bush concert. As this series most likely opens up on Sunday, there's most likely going to be an excessive gap between some of the games due to arena availability etc.
