Love it. He has earned it. 2 years is nice for both parties. The 1 way is not a big deal either. Hope he is a late bloomer. Can’t have all our 20 year olds make the team. Table setter

Sure, but I'd like to know what aspects of his game are different now vs in Detroit that will help him be more successful at the NHL level as a potential 25 goal scorer.

he had to and still has to work on his game away from the puck. I have witnessed him take a great step towards that this year. Still has a lot of room to improve. He has meshed well with one of our best prospects while in the AHL the last few months as well as we don’t have any NHL talent that can actually shoot a puck.
