GDT: The Kraken versus Winnipeg Jets

Yeah, I've been on the cusp of bringing it up, but last night was one of those where he really stood out in a bad way. He's young, and he was injured. The long season is probably taking its toll. Either way, he's going to have to figure things out if he's going to be anything more than a bottom pair guy. At this point I definitely wouldn't be trusting him with more minutes.

Our D is just defensively very bad. Has been all season.

This is one of those situations where I really wish the player was still waivers exempt. A little more AHL time would help him. We'll have to ride it out and just hope he's much better next year.

Also, Nyman is great. His skating needs some work, otherwise, he's had a positive impact on the team and has produced. Might have the best shot on the Kraken at the moment.

Bro can't skate and I'm wondering if it's one of those rare cases where it just doesn't matter.

When Jason Robertson was coming up everyone said he might not make it because of the skating, but if he could learn to skate better he could become a special player. He didn't learn how to skate better and he scored 109 pts in the NHL.

Since the Sharks were my first team, I always think of Pavelski. It's stupid for me (or anyone really) to thinking of Nyman as Pavelski, but he has a good hockey IQ, talent and size (which Pavs did not).

If he continues working hard, I can definitely see him be a legit PF in the league. It's way too early to tell but as a Kraken fan, I will take it. Need some more excitement in the games.
