I appreciate bread and Lavi being honest in the postgame. They sucked but a win is a win. Monday is a big one. They better get up for it because squeezing out a game at home against a bad team isn’t doing shit for me. Happy for Kakko and the rest of the kids. They deserve these opportunities.
my comment mightve been misinterpreted, Leonardo is one of the good ones, was all in good fun and jest. couldnt post about the game for a couple minutes.

Anderson is a pretty tough guy. This is his second fight with Trouba. They fought a couple years ago....Trouba did better in that fight.....more or less a draw though on Hockeyfights Trouba gets the win. Anderson has fought some pretty tough guys in his career though. Milan Lucic pretty much tossed him around and beat him down like he did Trouba today. He got mangled by Brett Gallant a really really tough AHL fighter too. He's fought Olivier and Gadjovich, Chris Stewart etc. etc. He's had about twice as many fights as Trouba has had in his career. Jacob IMO when he goes with him is a bit over his head. Jacob did okay and he didn't take the easy way out. He could have cut that fight in half just by staying down.
When Anderson takes on someone like a Lucic or a Gallant he shouldn't win but he did it anyway. I can give a guy credit for that even when he loses. Not so big a reach between Trouba and Anderson but again Anderson should win and again I can give Trouba credit for being game. I also figured that thing from the last Montreal game wasn't over. It was better for Trouba with Anderson than with Xhekaj. Xhekaj is a real heavyweight and a level above Anderson. It was a better deal for Trouba. That's probably done between Trouba and the Habs for now.

It was a good fight. Trouba lost, but still was no slouch. Got beaten by a better brawler. I never lost these ones myself - on the ice or in the bars - like that cuz I was too bat-shit nutz to ever square off in this manner like an old 1800:s gentleman bout. All in against the odds ... and end it fast... Hahaha

The Rangers were destined to lose that game if Dach doesn’t take a stupid offensive zone penalty.
Even on the Kakko goal, Kakko tripped Armia on the sequence leading up to the goal.
The Rangers won 4-3 with 3 PPG's. The power play woke up.
A few games again, MSL put Dach on the 4th line. Dach has been a big disappointment in Montreal. Injuries. Bad play.
Montreal has one good line and the Rangers kept making mistake after mistake.

Lovely patience by Cuylle in the GWG as well. He saw/heard/knew that Kakko was there, and instead of a half-assed backhander (that a lot of other players would've done there) he passes it and it results in a goal.
And like someone said on the GDT (can't reply to that post because it's locked, sorry), Kakko+Cuylle is the #1 bromance of this team now. They get shit done. Loved how in the celebration Kakko ignores Mika entirely even when he tried to take his head off, but embraced Cuylle immediately.
Lavy, do the sensible thing and put these together on a line once again please.

Kind of but......not to get me wrong I don't mind hockey fights usually but also to me it's something that some players shouldn't do because they're not made for it physically or their hearts aren't really in it. I don't think Trouba has a really big issue with it but wrong guy and you can get hurt too. And as far as fights sometimes there are tactical reasons whether payback for a hit dirty or clean or to wake up your team. Doing it all the time though is tough and unless you're really good at it and Trouba's is pretty much just okay you shouldn't make it something you do all the time. Also defensemen sitting for lengthy periods of time in the penalty box can be worse than a forward IMO.
Well we lose the Calgary game because the refs f***ed us over on a hand pass. Sometimes you get breaks and sometimes you get screwed.
