Not sure that is true. According to NHLuniforms.com, the Vancouver Canucks are in the 5th season of wearing their's throwbacks 70's style 3rd jerseys. Those were actually introduced in 2006-07, gone for 2007-08, and returned in 2008-09.

Can teams continue to use their third's more than three years if they have worn it for three years? For example, under current NHL rules can the Jackets use their Cannon jersey next season as their third's? It would be the fourth year as a third jersey... ?

Sure. There's no time limit. They can use the design as long as they want to, the limit being they can't replace it for the first three years, whether they stop using it before that or not.

Thanks SG... and others... This guy and I love the CBJ thirds and wanted to be sure about the rules governing their use...
 
I still have this Pahlsson 2011-2012 Set 1 for trade. I am looking to trade it for one of the following. Navy 11-12 jersey, White 11-12, Thank you Fans jersey or a Navy unpatched jersey.

Mmm, thanks, I actually mixed up the home and third jerseys! The navy color on the CBJ home is very similar to the Rangers' heritage jerseys.

I actually had this exact same thought in mind and wanted to make sure it wasn't a 48. Instead, I posted a 48 :laugh:

Actually am looking for a home 50 Nash jersey. Something gently used, preferably with the ten year patch.

I can guess it is probably like dealing with a death. When it comes down to it, players will always go eventually. Just like death, they'll always move on. I've definitely come to accept the fact that Martin Brodeur will no longer be a New Jersey Devil within the next couple of years.
 
You get use to it. Of my 25 CBJ gamers only 2 are still with the team now. (5 if you count Wright as still being with the team)

Yeah...

It's kind of weird. I have no problem getting older jerseys of players long gone, but when a current player gets traded, I instantly want to purge their jerseys.

I really thought Moore would be here for many years to come. I had a jersey of his at every level except the OHL. I guess there's a lesson in there about getting too focused on one guy.

The trade offers already coming in....being offered a blue 02-03 Spacek for my blue 10-11 Dorsett. Survey says??
 
Just realized that I had some luck with the Gaborik trade...

I had bought a 2008 all star jersey with the intent of getting a Nash auto but never did. Now I can get a Gabby. Love it.
 
Pick up my first Proplayer jersey. These jerseys were never worn on the ice by the Jackets, but they were used during the jersey unavailing and at events during 1999 and 2000. This one is a 48 if anyone ever has a blue or white 54 or bigger they want to trade let me know.

Kubalik Game Worn 2011-2012 Set 1

This jersey has a nice 3" repair on the back next to the second three and had an A removed. The A was worn during the 2011 Traverse City Prospects Tournament. www.youtube.com/watch?v=zWxjsZOgkRg&feature=youtu.be This jersey would have also been worn during his NHL debut on 1/8/11 vs the Ducks.

Not sure. They would if they had any made up, but I suspect they didn't have a lot of them made up by the time he was traded.

Haven't posted anything in awhile. Had a couple tremendous opportunities come my way recently, and this is the first one:

2000-01 Columbus Blue Jackets Tyler Wright Home jersey - Inaugural season, worn in first home game. Velcro A, repairs, general filth :) Cannot describe how happy I am to have this one.

So i went to finally get my 1st Columbus jersey and up here it's not an easy thing to do... After tracking one done i told the guy i wanted Anisimov put on it. He proceeded to spell it "Animisov" 3 times before i got mad and raised my voice a little and then asked "why him is he good or something?". I just laughed and shook my head and said you'll see next year when Columbus is in the east. Long story short I'll finally have a jersey... in 3-4 weeks
