Everyone took a turn getting covid that one year but never this many.

Coincidence.

It's not the first time a team goes through a big list of injuries.

Last season the Leafs were down to 1 or 2 regular D and had used up to 13 different defenders or something like that.

That's exactly what it is. Our forwards aren't built and never played that game and Berube better own it. We need at least two more guys like for example Kadri and another top 9 Brutusk. This why Reeves plays but he isn't top 9. It will not be easy to acquire these guys but we have glaring playoff weaknesses especially for the East. Come playoffs Reeves likely won't even play and other teams defense will crucify our forwards.

Where there is smoke there is fire...

Earlier him or Tree (cant recall) saying he can play but just needs to manage the injury was enough for me. Hes not a top player.. if hes playing with discomfort than its unlikely he will be better than a healthy replacement.
