I'm not overly optimistic about this one. Habs beat us pretty easily the other two games and that was with Ward/Ellis. Maybe Peters has better luck, but i'm not holding my breath. If we can get to OT, I'd call it a defeat.

Glad to hear Ellis is off IR. We were going to need him this week.

We're going to need Peters to steal this one for us. Montreal is a flat out better team in every respect (except pure offensive skill, but that's sputtering along for us right now).

Muse fanboys in 3....2....1...

Our "Time is Running Out." We need to "Escape" Montreal with a win. They are not "Invincible." If we lose, the board will be mass "Hysteria," a true "Panic Station."

I hope Gleason is "Sober," as we cannot have him "Falling Down" tonight.

One thing is for certain, a win tonight will have me "Feeling Good" and in a state of "Bliss."

(I know, this is just terrible....)

A defeat? I take OT as a WIN!

Couldn't figure out how to include my favorite song, "Map of the Problematique"? That's just "Madness".

First sighting of being derided as "hicks" on Montreal's board. That took longer than expected.
There have been more NASCAR sanctioned races in Montreal than in Raleigh since the Canes have existed, so I guess Montreal are the real hicks. At least the French from France think that too. :sarcasm:

As my dear departed mother, who was French, would attest - they most assuredly do. I think I brought it up in the last thread, but les habitants were basically French-Canadian sharecroppers.

My grandfather shared a similar sentiment which I always found ironic considering he came from a small village in the French Alps.

To add more class I found some traditional French-Canadian music for us all to jam out to.

Also, in keeping with the tradition of drinking the blood of your enemies imbuing you with their powers, should I trade in my local NC brews for some La Fin Du Monde and other tasty Unibroue creations?

And lastly, please note that apparently our amis to le nord don't quite get the concept of "April Fool's"

I would do it. Unibroue beers are pretty rare in the Southeast from what I know (which is probably a fraction of what DaveG knows). I still haven't been able to try any of their beers, but then again I have never traded and I don't really have any desire to. I just buy whatever they have at bottle stores around here. I love Belgians though, so La Fin Du Monde would be right in my wheelhouse.

You're looking in the wrong beer stores. I don't know how the availability is in the Charleston area but I know Columbia has a fair number and I've bought just about all their offerings (except uber-pricey bombers) locally here in Raleigh between Total Wine, Bottle Revolution, and Tasty Beverage.

I mostly hit up CBX and Total Wine here. Total Wine here doesn't carry any Unibroue at all, and CBX is perpetually out of stock. These are the best stores with the most inventory of different brews, so I'm not sure what the deal is.
