I will never get the confidence at 13 or Nazar...and that was before major surgery.

Hope it works, but KD isn't sleeping easy on that one unless he really just wanted to jettison Dach no matter what.

Most number 13 overalls are very underwhelming at best in terms of altering a top 6/top 4.

Dach as a middle six will probably be a better player than the average impact of number 13 overall. Just a numbers thing, any year can be unique.

Nazar is pretty much just skating and offense, and he's had pretty solid defenders on the ice with him most of the time. If he doesn't adjust to NHL speed or doesn't come back 100%, his career won't be very interesting.

Love the ceiling, but I cringe when looking at his floor. Obviously I hope it was a steal of a pick.

NHL front offices haven't contacted me for insight, so I'm reluctant to push too hard on an opinion regarding teenagers.

Makes sense. I don’t have an independent opinion on him and defer to others who have watched enough of him to form an opinion.
