Usually I wouldn't make a big deal out of the first 2 games of any season but this is different.

It's different because nobody else is playing which means by opening night 30 teams are going to start with 2 games in hand on NJ and Buffalo.

The loser of this series is going to be in trouble

The winner especially if one team takes both will be sitting pretty to start the year, assuming both teams stay healthy.
