Same from an Utah perspective… I’m so used to the Coyotes playing themselves out of a playoff spot by the end of February that it’s a weird feeling. Progress though. We’re not mathematically out of it yet, and while the probability of it happening is at least greater than a snowball’s chance in Hell, it’s still not very good and took a very big blow on Tuesday night.

We were all very disappointed in Tuesday night. Well maybe not the Oilers fans

It's annoying, the Ducks were within 4 points of a WC spot but then just blew it. They were beating some good teams also. Cronin is just a horrible coach, and goaltending was keeping them in the games and the playoff chase, but now back to reality. He has kept the youth from really breaking out this season offensively. I hope he is gone this summer.

That's so sad, condolences to his friends and family.

I think of Tom Bombadil when I think of him. Maybe not quite right but he was always around spreading joy and good humor and you never really knew what team he "belonged" to cause he never engaged with any negativity.

Just wandered around and did his thing and didn't concern himself with all the bickering.

We had some great laughs on these boards and he was one of the few who truly understood my demented sense of humor and gave me several side splitting laughs. I never met him but I feel like I lost one of my best friends.

In a world of rivalries, Ginger Papa was an ambassador of good will and humor across team boards.

As the great philosopher Wiliam Joel once said.."Only the good die young" Ginger Papa was the best and he died way too young.
