FYI @Rooh they changed it to 7 CST. Last time Rooh made one of these, Hawks won a lottery spot to #3 overall and picked Dach. Let's hope they win it again, this time #1 and this time a much better pick in Bedard.

Didn't they jump like 9 spots to get Dach? Jumping 2 spots should be child's play for Rooh.

Aside from Connor Bedard's talent, I want this kid specifically for his desire and compete level. He seems more determined than all the 1st oa's we've seen before. He loves the game as much as Mcdavid

ESPN released a special on him last week and they asked him why he brought his hockey gear to a family vacation in hawaii, confirmed loves hockey

Though I'd love it if we landed top 3. Bedard is awesome, but I'd still be ecstatic with Fantilli or Carlsson.

So as I posted in the otger Draft Lottery thread...today is my birthday...

I do nit expect a birthday gift so grand as Generational Bedard...nor even Top Consolation Prize Fantilli...if either happens great...if not I hope we get Will Smith or Carlsdonwith thex4th or 5th picks...Odds say we are least likely to stay at 3rd. Myckkov may be generational as mich as Bedard...but tge risk he gets out of Russia for the 26/27 NHK season is a gamble...Russia coukd keep hom there longer if former relations not patched up by then..Too much risk for me..
Plus he is a shrimp....and not a 1C position...which is our biggest need.

I think we would be in big trouble finishing 4th to last with the probability of ending up at 6. Im okay with the top 5. Michkov is scary but it sounds like the talent is elite. I love production and Will Smith has it.
