Its crazy we have sooo much higher odds picking 4 or 5 then 1, 2, or 3.

Getting that last point screwed us on the option of picking Michkov or Smith. Lets get some LUCK.

Didn't they jump like 9 spots to get Dach? Jumping 2 spots should be child's play for Rooh.

ESPN released a special on him last week and they asked him why he brought his hockey gear to a family vacation in hawaii, confirmed loves hockey

I'm mentally preparing for 4th or 5th.

Though I'd love it if we landed top 3. Bedard is awesome, but I'd still be ecstatic with Fantilli or Carlsson.

So as I posted in the otger Draft Lottery thread...today is my birthday...

I do nit expect a birthday gift so grand as Generational Bedard...nor even Top Consolation Prize Fantilli...if either happens great...if not I hope we get Will Smith or Carlsdonwith thex4th or 5th picks...Odds say we are least likely to stay at 3rd. Myckkov may be generational as mich as Bedard...but tge risk he gets out of Russia for the 26/27 NHK season is a gamble...Russia coukd keep hom there longer if former relations not patched up by then..Too much risk for me..
Plus he is a shrimp....and not a 1C position...which is our biggest need.

I think we would be in big trouble finishing 4th to last with the probability of ending up at 6. Im okay with the top 5. Michkov is scary but it sounds like the talent is elite. I love production and Will Smith has it.

Anyone have our draft odds by draft position (2-5) handy? I see our odds of landing number 1. I’m mostly curious what our odds of drafting 5th are.
