Vanecek was good but that’s about it. They were hemmed in too much and that’s a likely theme this year as it was last year. Celebrini and the goaltending basically have to carry the team for it to go anywhere.

They need Granlund and Celebrini back and like two actual puck-moving defensemen of Walman's quality to be a legit team IMO.

I can't shake the feeling that we're gonna get someone off waivers or via trade to help the defensem. It's dire out there.

It’s the right side on defense. It needs a massive upgrade to make this team competitive when the kids up front start figuring it out.
