Yeah, he always goes through these mid-season slumps. I don't know if he just wears down, has minor injuries or something else, but it's what keeps him from being a top 20 player in this league. The top players never slump. A slump is like 1 game, max 2.

They're also able to put up multi-point games multiple times whereas Suzuki is more of a one point guy, sometimes 2..

I actually think many of the PPG players also slump but they tend to have a lot more multi point games when they are on.
We just don't score many goals and It's not like Suzuki isn't creating or getting scoring chances.
Suzuki has 17 blanks with one run of 4 games. Kyle Connor has 16 blanks with a run of 4 games as well as a run of 3 games. Rantanen has 14 blanks with a run of 4 games (after his trade)
All those guys are at a scoring level above Suzuki and benefit from higher scoring teams and more multi point games.
