Hard to see Bedard not wearing a letter of some sort. That's the only guy I'd be confident saying will definitely be wearing one right now. From an outside perspective, I could see any of Vlasic, Rinzel, Nazar, EDM or Moore being future leaders here. Then there's the guys we haven't even drafted yet.

Like Disgruntled said, who knows without having access to the locker room. I do like the idea of Vlasic wearing an A, though. He seems like a good kid, feels like a veteran, is still super young, could be here for the next decade. He'd be who I'd give Jones' A to if it were up to me (again, with a much more limited knowledge of the team compared to those in the locker room).

We've got a year before we have to consider who'll replace Foligno. We'll see how much some of these kids can mature by then and go from there.

That's what I thought initially, it was a power grab by some new mod who shall be nameless!

Long term, I definitely see Frank in the leadership group. He'll have to wait at least a year, though.

I requested it a few weeks ago when there was a lively discussion here about a player's plus/minus. DHF was missing for about a month at that point (turned out he went into a f***ing coma), NoFun wasn't quite as active as he's been in the past (that's what he gets for having a family and social life), and the third mod was HGF who hadn't logged into their account in over a year.

So I figured if nobody else was going to sign up, which there are a few really solid posters here who would do well in that role, that I'd inquire and try to kind of police these threads by hopefully just telling people to calm the f*** down (don't want to hand out infractions to you folk, but I will if need be). Took a bit for the request to go through, but had it become official last night.

To get things back on topic, NoFun wears the C, and me and DHF both got As. But I've had it for a lot less time and only got it because a previous mod left, so I guess I'm basically this board's Jason Dickinson.

From my time on this site, it's always been Shogun and Disgruntled. But also posters like HGF and Trance Kuja who are no longer here, and believe it or not, BWC was a mod as well.

Really hoping Fiddy volunteers in the future. I wanna see him try to explain why a poster is getting banned. When this group starts taking off again, I want him as the 4th moderator.

I would absolutely love to get an infraction warning message and see a quoted section of the sites rules only for it to be rewritten by fiddy lmao

a new captain will be named when found, my guess is they have one lock/constant A, and rotate 3 other A's after the Vets don't get letters.

Eventually I think the leader will emerge and be known and I don't think that there is pressure to have Bedard be the Captain.
