GDT: The Four Nations Tournament Thread

If you owned a business would you allow your highest paid employee to under perform for a year?

Depends why he's underperforming. That worker is a human being in the asset class who I can invest in and maybe pass the business onto one day when I want to retire.

Does that satisfy your hypothetical in a unique way?

There's no way Minny takes steps back while they've got Kaprizov on crazy value. It's also the reason they were willing to tank the gutshot buyouts on Parise/Suter.

Looks at Minny's 2015 draft looks at ours,

hey

At least we had the Rain Man of scouts heading it though, right?

Where's everyone from the bad old days? Weird. I thought you guys were Canuck fans.

You know a business that doesn't have highly paid and under performing people? Lol. I can think of dozens I work with. Albeit way less than $10m/yr.
The company I work for just did an acquisition of a company who was under CCAA. I personally am responsible for turning the company in to a profitable company.

When I am done their will not be a single under performing middle, senior or executive manager left in the organization or it will be who is let go.

It’s def one of the reasons I can’t accept EP116 as an employee or player. Under performing employees are terrible for a successful organization

at that salary it’s not your responsibility to find out why. That is built in to the salary. You cannot underperform

This is honestly the first world tournament I've seen where I didn't at least subconsciously find rooting for Team Canada just by default.

I actually find myself more elated when Sweden scores than when Canada scores.

Local man becomes Trump voter,

find out how in 1 hour. f*** me

I feel like whatever business you are in has a lot of kids who "don't want to work". Your turnover rate must be bonkers. Fit the work to suit the worker. Just a friendly suggestion.
