No the play is good, I just mean it's not the Olympics. It doesn't feel unpatriotic to be more into Sweden.

Ehh... I just generally never really cared about the patriotic tribalist side of hockey in general, and find that side of this brand of escapist entertainment pretty silly. Seemed to end up cheering for Canada most of the time incidentally anyways, though, either due to familiarity, subconscious bias, liking the players or whatever. Same with watching the Canucks, it has nothing to do with caring about it "representing Vancouver" or some nonsense.

We can say that this tournament's not that serious, but for me, it's more just that hockey as a whole is not that serious.

At the end of the day, he's a gamebreaking talent. Guys like that can be dogshit 95% of the game and can still pick up points because of that 5%.
