The Football Team formerly known as Redskins - Super Bowl 2025 or bust! [2025-26 Offseason Extravaganza Edition]

Slightly worried that they seem to be bringing back the RB group. I think it'd be a mistake to walk away from this great RB draft without one. Obviously they could still draft one but we'll see. Need a long-term plan for RB and this would be a great draft to address that. It's a much stronger RB draft than 2026 will be.

Current group is just fine. BRob and Ekeler can feast against the worse defenses. What's worrying is just how bad they looked at times down the stretch against the better teams.

Kupp to seahawks, 3 years 45 mil. Damn.

I don't really want diggs coming off a major injury but i dont think it'd be bad to take a swing at cooper for cheap

I think the expectation among media that's close to the team is that they're definitely planning to draft an RB.

Trading Geno and DK for high draft picks then signing Darnold and Kupp is pretty slick

Also don't like Wagner to Dallas for 8mill.

Did we not offer him that much?

Fowler is ass against the run. He got blown up on the first run of the NFCC game and played very few snaps the rest of the way.

They’ll need to replace the sack production but it seems clear to me based on their moves thus far that improving both the run defense and the overall tackling ability were their priorities on defense.

Fowler* yes sorry.
We kept Wagner for about the same cap hit. That's why I was thinking of him.
Yeah, MUCH happier to have BW for that money than DF.

You don’t say…
Man, that pissed me off. And they HAD HIM last year! It's not like they didn't know!!!

Mickey Loomis has coasted for almost decade on that crazy 2017 draft, but he jumped the shark and is stealing money at this point. Eff that guy.

No doubt getting better against the run has been a point of emphasis. Even letting Chinn go and signing and signing Will Harris. That is about stuffing the run. i also like the Jonathan Jones signing as another cornerback. Fine with Noah Ingbi….

I’m not sad about anyone we lost for the price they got paid. And this includes Chinn. I am over that now.

Chase and Higgins both extended by Cincy.

Chase's contract is for four years and worth $161 million with $112 million guaranteed. The deal makes him the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history. Higgins agreed to a four-year, $115 million contract

Crazy money, but they had to do it.
