Seems like, but I've kinda got the same mindset as about the Caps TDL: we don;t know what we don't know -- and in the case of FA, this just the first day.

Maybe we're in deep negotiation w/ CIN for Hendrickson and we weren't even a player for Sweat? Maybe Kinlaw is a guy AP heard from DQ that he can make a player out of him, and $10M/yr. is a decent hedge against a Payne injury or regression?

One thing we know is that we have way too many holes to fill w/ just our returning guys, and we can't blow our budget on Day 1.

So... meh start -- or so it seems at this point.

I get what they're trying to do building with core players who aren't necessarily the biggest name but at the same time they one have the money and two can splurge for one player still. now all the best players who can really make an impact are going and they'll be left scrounging for scraps

$15 per right? 3 years 45, 30 guaranteed. So $15 mil per for 2 years minimum.

Im happy .. we arent signing any of these roster filler, non game changers

CB - add one of Reed/Ward/Douglas/Murphy/Samuel Jr or move for Jaire Alexander

S - Chinn or one of the servicable FAs

WR - Diggs .. local guy but only if FO thinks he fits

I wanted Sweat, that would have been a really good add. Edge is a massive problem spot for us.

I'm okay with it. Wasn't looking like we'd land a real LT gamer via draft or FA. Going to have to get those penalties under control though. Big issue with him, as I recall.
