I've been all over NE, he's a Sean Taylor clone physically, has his speed and range, maybe not quite his instincts, but he's close. I had hoped he would be there for us at 29 even though Safety isn't our biggest need. But now it appears someone will go grab him earlier in the 1st. Crazy RAS score. Dude is a complete beast.

Agreed. Would you rather have the stadium at that location or be able to tailgate? Because you really can’t have both. If tailgating is that important then they need to find another location.

If they're smart, they'll figure out how to enable some tailgating. It doesn't have to be the same as FedEx, where they're was nothing else to do. It could be a surface area, reserved for tailgating, with an extra cost - tailgating isn't a constitutional right after all - or could be the top deck of the garages. I don't know exactly, but they can allow for some tailgating. There will be restaurants around as well.

Brilliant idea….just sell limited tailgating space for big money…..it’s a tradition people will pay to continue. Seems like there should be something they can work out that makes sense for all.

No drunks on top of parking decks throwing footballs please. Lol….

Tailgating is fun and but really wont be missed much.

I would much rather take the metro to a game and go to the bars. Its pretty much like all DC sports... Caps, Wiz, Nats. Thats how you game day.

And its way better then having 50k fans drunk driving and chugging beers in a parking lot.

I’m not crazy about Deebo. The price is fine but he looked cooked and cranky last year just like Lattimore.

He does fit the offense.

Let’s see what else they’ve got in mind.

Yup, this year only, at $21.7M. Watching the Combine, they were talking about how this gives the O a lot of creative options, and that the combo of winning, an electric QB, and a team having fun is a great combo to drive FAs, whether re-signing, or coming in fresh.

If it works out, they'll definitely have to get a lower salary for any future years, but for this year I think it's a good move.

I guess that's good.

Health is always the issue with this guy. SF used him out of the backfield almost as much as a receiving target last year. He was not as effective as a runner.

Would prefer they run him sparingly and move him around the formation a lot to keep the defense guessing and unable to decide who to focus on.

Would not sign a new contract until late in the season at earliest.

Deebo didn’t have a good year last year, but he was on an island with Ayiuck situation and injury. He will be a number 2 with Terry. Can be all kinds of dangerous across the middle freeing Terry up for 1 on 1 deep. Hopefully McCaffrey becomes that bigger target in middle (and stays with kickoffs). And D Brown another utility scat guy. Brown or Zackeius as another bigger body possession guy.
