Been watching since the 50’s. The Leafs have had some great players. I’d say Marner and Matthews would rank right up there with the best Leafs ever. But the previous greats were respected and likeable. I’m not seeing these two great talents as respected and likeable.I've been a huge Marner fan from the start. I have a Marner jersey. I have Marner on my fantasy squad. I've defended him for the past few years when fans/media sagged on him. I loved seeing him on the PK, and he's great to watch with his passing skill.
I hate him.
I don't hate easily. I've hated maybe 3 leafs since the Sundin era.
I hate Marner.
He's a pathetic little whiny piece of trash. He's going to walk as a free agent, and I'm glad. I wouldn't want him to stay on this team for free. Him wearing a letter on his jersey for years is a disgrace. He's not a leader, he's a quitter. I've seen more guts in 11 year kids. Marner can't even pretend to be a Leafs fan when he's just a greedy loser. He put more effort into contract egotiating than any playoff game.
Enjoy your payday in Utah, Mitch, or whatever team pays you for the regular season stats. I hope I never see you in a Leaf jersey again, you money grubbing choker.

The bruins would be ecstatic to get any of those 4 guys after the year they hadAs a Bruins fan of the 4 important people on the leafs team if they were available I'd take Nylander.
One of his best friends is Pasta, so that's nice.
Marner? He'd have to get a transplant first. So there's that.
Tavares, um no.
Matthews? Uuuuugh! Not a chance.
Your right we are having a great time. The Habs weren't suppose to make the playoffs while the Leafs from what i keep hearing were going to the finals. The funniest thing in this thread is the fans of the other 27 teams who have been eliminated, trying to roast us lmao
Yeah we're disappointed we lost, but Sens/Habs fans having a party ? LOL
Marner will get a lot of money come July 1.There is no way Marner deserves a raise. Offer him $9m with no trade protection and let him go
Marner will get a lot of money come July 1.
Imo the Leafs will take a big step backwards losing Marner. It’s not so easy to replace 100 point players, who are first over the boards on the PK, and play an excellent 200 foot game.Good luck to him with that

Out of curiosity, who are the others?I've hated maybe 3 leafs since the Sundin era.
Metallica wrote a song about this.... it's called "Sad But True". He's going to bank out on the Leafs, and end up in Dallas. IMO he lacks the strength and balls for playoff hockey. Leafs will be fine without Marner.Marner will get a lot of money come July 1.
Can’t blame the player for that. Blame the GM that gave him the NTC, or the GM that didn’t trade him before it kicked in.Both deadline acquisitions, Laughton and Carlo, were awful in the playoffs.
Rantanen for Marner would have been huge, but Mitch the Regular Season Bitch decided to pull a Tavares
Brand New reference?I've seen more guts in 11 year kids.
Indeed it was.Brand New reference?
I was like there's no way someone says that without making the reference but Michael Keaton kept quoting TLC songs in The Other Guys without knowing who they were, so you can never be too sure.Indeed it was.
Not for that coin. The bruins would be ecstatic to get any of those 4 guys after the year they had
So, Treliving? Dubas was gonna blow up the core and Shanahan and his man Tre wanted to keep themCan’t blame the player for that. Blame the GM that gave him the NTC, or the GM that didn’t trade him before it kicked in.
