I'm guessing you never noticed the small circular one with the MLB symbol located under the brim. Do you even own a fitted hat?

You mean the Certificate of Authenticity sticker that company put on there to prove that their hat was genuine and not a knockoff (because that was a huge issue in the 90's). Yea no that is not even close to being what they are for. :shakehead

You must have some reading comprehension problems. I said why I leave them on.

Why does what someone does with a hat that they paid good money for(upwards of $50) bother you so much?

If me or anyone else wearing their hat with a flat brim sideways with stickers all over offends you so much, don't look.

I keep mine flat, but honestly that type of hat looks even stupider with the curve. It's designed to be flat. I don't see what the big deal is it's just a hat. I like both styles but a lot of the nicer hats seem to be made flat now.

Still like snap-back the most though. That way you can just adjust it. Like others pointed out, even if you're a certain size with one hat with another it's not even the same.

I agree about the sticker though, remove it immediately. I don't see what the point of keeping it on is, somebody said to prove it's authentic? I don't give a **** if some random person thinks my hat isn't authentic.

I'll also mention that they sell both flat and curved brims.

Yes and I figured that they were designed to be flat and not broken in, they still look dumb as **** to me.

It's one thing if kids were wearing them, but I saw adult men wearing these things

I actually saw a conversation a few years back on this very site where somebody that wears these flat brimmed hats (not elmo or sesame street just the type of hat) said that he only wears them ironically, and he just said that like everyone knew what it meant and just moved on to whatever else he was saying.

And then someone else calls him out on it and says "hold up, what the hell does it mean to wear something ironically, how I'd that even possible"

Basically the guy explains that he actually thinks they look stupid, but because he's wearing it with the knowledge that it looks stupid, it's actually very cool and stylish

I've been using the search function again and again to find that comment it was so weird

I guess I just wasn't paying attention to what hats people were wearing, because I have zero recollection of this ever being a thing. :dunno:
