And I wish Columbus or Anaheim or whoever the best, along with Petey and hope it doesnt come to Darcy Kuemper, or retained like EK or bought out like OEL after we turn him into whatever Gabe Vilardi type centerpiece they will be giving us.

So you've settled on OEL to repeatedly post any chance you get? Because they're both Swedish?

Also Gabe Vilardi is out scoring PLD.

Jets have Schiefele, Connor, and Morrisey.

Canucks after trading Miller have... Hughes.

We don't have the top end forwards left anymore.

You highlighted a post where I compared him to Hertl and PLD, while mentioning I understand hes the best of the bunch. Not a single mention of OEL in this particular post..

But yeah after EK, OEL, PLD, Hertl, and like 20 other comparisons ive made elsewhere.. Theyre both swedes so must be the same. If thats all U took from any of my posts then so be it.

Then you proved my point by mentioning Vilardi alone is outscoring PLD. What a shiny valuable quarter that one turned out to be.
 
Remember when Pettersson and Höglander both started looking a lot better when Linus Karlsson was on their line... and then the Canucks inexplicably sent Karlsson down and broke the other two up? I feel that deserves more raised eyebrows.

probably because one is a 3rd/4th liner and the other a depth player.

Oh and they probably both could care less about Karlsson....didn't even pick up his first goal puck they liked playing with him so much

We dont have the talent the Jets had when moving PLD.

We have Quinn Hughes and not much else.

Moving the lone potential elite piece for middle sixers and picks wont take us closer to the cup.

The team is in a horrific situation now.

Playing with Karlsson just reminds Pettersson of the Canucks trading his buddy Dahlen six years ago.

Trading away Miller was never gonna make things easier for Petey on the ice, despite Petey defenders complaining about how Miller hogged Hughes' ice time.

Other teams have little left on our forward roster to worry about.

Who can we sign ? Names ? Uggh

The amount of elite players is finite. Regardless of how much cap space you have.

They could try throwing money at Ehlers and Bennett or make a play for someone like Buchnevich. That level of player is likely all they’d be capable of though

Ehlers is worth a try. Thomas Drance has mentioned him as a target before. He would add legitimacy to the top 6. I'd imagine he'll want a million or 2 more than he's making now which is 6 million.

Ehlers' playoff track record is god awful.

That isn't to say that I wouldn't support bringing him in, because, again, this team needs two top six forwards badly and I'd take virtually whatever I could get. But he's the clear #2 guy of the two we'd need to add with the first one being some elite level matchup line player.
