Sputtering is maybe the best way to describe his play early in the season.

Endless fans and Media criticizing him for playing soft and not using his size.

Can Keefe send a message to him early by healthy scratching him, or is that too harsh?

Missed camp due to an injury. He’s clearly playing a step behind. Wouldn’t mind seeing him demoted onto the fourth line to play alongside Kampf. Those two click and it’s not like ZAR or NAK are really doing anything.

Steeves is someone I’d like to see called up next. I think he’d look good playing with Jarnkrok on the third line.
