Really badly constructed power play. Thornton and Simmonds don’t even have jobs out there. It’s like Marner and Rielly to the outside and Matthews getting occasional looks.

Powerplay needs to get fixed and the top 6 needs to start shooting pucks inside the posts instead of off them. It's not puck luck it's a lack of execution.

Yea and those 2 players did all the damage today.

I'd be perfectly fine with the leafs having 20 mil of their cap tied up on two players currently pacing for 150 points/82.

After those 2 playres, their next highest paid forward is 6 million, then (lol) 3.2

The leafs after their top 2 (who don't put up NEARLY as many points) is 11 million and 7 million.
