Button does know what he's talking about. I find he gets hate because it isn't the popular opinion and he's aggressive in his appraoch. But more often than not, I do feel he speaks from truth and experience. He's often right when it comes to what approach general managers should take (how they should address different transactions or their team). He isn't always right when it comes to his assessment of players but who really is?

He gets hate because he's a condescending a hole to anyone who disagrees with him or has a different opinion and will never admit that there might be a remote possibility that he could be wrong about something
