Rikki Tikki Tocchet is remaining silent

Rick Tocchet says the odds are against Filip Chytil playing this year as he continues to have both good and bad days in his recovery from a concussion.

When asked if there's concern for Chytil's career, Tocchet didn't give a definitive answer. "I don't know because I talked to him today and he says it was different than his last concussion. The bad days aren't as bad so that's a positive."

(Cam Robinson mentions this is Chytil's 5th concussion as a pro at the age of 25)



Rick Tocchet says centre Elias Pettersson has skated once or twice but is still dealing with discomfort from an upper body injury and is day to day.

Rick Tocchet says Nils Höglander is desperate to get back into the lineup and is likely closer to returning than either Pettersson or Chytil after skating on a non-contact jersey today.
