Can someone explain why we can't just shut down some players? Petterson, Hughes, Demko, etc....

Why keep them playing when the year is a write off? I don't play sports. I just don't understand the benefit of "playing through the pain"

I think it is a philosophy of the team right now.

They are trying to see if they can push the envelope on how soon players can come back from injuries / what kind of stuff they should and can play through.

Playoffs = more money

Very simple really

I see Quinn Hughes is back being listed as 'day-to-day' on the injury front. The depressing fact is that this is probably an injury that plagues Hughes for the rest of the season.

Hughes at 60-70 percent, is still better than anyone they've got. But you have to wonder if will be enough for the Canucks to make the playoffs.

Have we heard anything on Demko? Need him more than hughes right now honestly. Our schedule is very nasty coming up.
Not really other than this today

Tocchet says pure load management day for Lankinen after 37 saves last night. Silovs gets start in Abbotsford tonight. Hughes took scheduled day off the ice. Demko skated this morning before the group
