Still a solid career. There's a chance he ends up Top 200 in points in NHL history (would need another 100 points or so.)

Him, Matt Duchene, Tyler Seguin probably won't finish that far apart in career points when it's all over.

MVP is technically supposed to go to the player most valuable to their team, yes, but I’m not sure that’s how it’s actually decided each year.

In the same way the “best defenseman” doesn’t always win the Norris.
They should come out with an award for a complete defenseman, not just the one who scores the most points.

Is there a reason they don't play him with bedard? I don't really understand Chicago's mindset it's like they have fourish top six players and instead of playing them with each other they have them spread out floundering offensively independent of one another

Chemistry is a thing. Sometimes guys just don’t click with other guys for what ever reason.

After the Hat Trick. Hall went onto the ice and picked out one Hat to keep for himself. Wonder what hat it was, probably an Oilers cap. His heart is still in Edmonton.

Because Hall needs the puck to be effective and Bedard should have the puck on his stick.

His injuries ruined a hall of fame career.

He wasnt ever a "smart/High IQ" player however he was fast, strong and had great physical traits.

He was looking to be a superstar but kept getting hurt.

Him and Seguin were both better talents than their career totals would habe you believe

Perry will probably end up getting in on the back of Hockey Canada accomplishments and the cup in addition to his Hart season.

In general, HHOF is a mess on what the criteria is. So, the bar constantly gets lowered.
Hall of fame inductions are similar to suspensions and officiating, in that they are all wildly inconsistent.

I don't understand people who say he did not deserve the MVP
Of course he deserved it. He can still play in this league. At least one Hawks fan said early in this thread that he’s playing well, that it just takes time to come back from a knee injury. Surrounded by takes of posters that probably haven’t watched the guy play in years dog pilling on him spewing nonsense.
