Has anybody tried watching this one? It follows a lot of the same tropes we see in other reality game show type of shows. However, the big twist with this one is that the game's are hella complex. I don't even want to start to describe them as I'm sure I'll butcher them. Seriously if you think game shows and want to see very complex gameplay infused with intrigue, deception, and strategy this is the show for you. I'm actually obsessed with it, it may be the best reality game show type of show I've ever seen. I'll be honest that I struggled a bit with the names and keeping straight who's who but that's just my cultural bias at play. If you can get past that this is one of the smartest best non-scripted shows you'll ever watch.
It's currently in the middle of S2, but S1 from 2023 is well worth the watch. Not to spoil too much but there's a specific moment late in the first season that's one of the most ruthless, surprising and smartest twist plays by a game show player I've ever seen that just blew my mind away when I was watching it.
S2 has included American actor Justin Min (The Umbrella Academy) on top of many South Korean celebrities.
