The Dallas Stars are one of most vanilla team in the NHL right

Looking at the Dallas Stars playing, they have no emotion, no drive, no killer instincts.

They should be hitting any Oilers players, that has the puck. Instead they are just floating around and not playing no contact ice hockey.

What is up with this team?
They only show up to beat Colorado and then start the parade. Starting with Rantanen.

Their defense is poorly built and they can't gap the Oilers in the neutral zone to limit the Oilers' speed.
And they are Charmin' soft.

Skinner got in their heads again, and that third period of game 4 onward they seemed resigned to the fact that no matter what they do, they won't win this series. Goes back to game 6 of last year's series. Looked completely lifeless since then.

Duchene sure cost himself a lot on the FA market this offseason with this postseason.

Given how weak the FA market is I’m not so sure he did, but I agree, he’s not a guy a contender should pay money to.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see Toronto pay him big bucks.

Dallas has coaching, goaltending, defence and goal-scoring problems.
Stars as a team are mediocre and soft than charmin toilet-paper.

Absolutely zero grit, physicality and toughness to even challenge Oilers.
Panthers made one major trade when Zito took over general managers position.
Trading Jonathan Huberdeau for Matthew Tkachuk was great move and that was a start for Panthers success.

Maybe Stars should consider making one major trade ( example Hintz, Heiskanen or Robertson ).'
But that's my opinion and if some move should be no brainer it is firing DeBoer at least.

There has to be big changes in Stars roster this off-season if Stars seriously wants to be a cup contender
because with current roster Stars will not defeat Oilers in western conference finals
and Panthers in stanley cup final series.

Duchene last 2 post season’s are pretty underwelming. I think if you want to win a cup, dont be calling duchene’s agent. He’s marner lite in every way

Lol, came to post the same. They look great against the Avs, although the Avs games/series are always close.

Then they start sucking.
Unfortunately the Avs are too timid and too stupid to "hit back" against Dallas by ramping up their physicality. Somehow, some way, Jared Bednar & Crew still haven't figured out that soft, perimeter play (at both ends of the ice) isn't a winning strategy against the Stars. On the flip side, Edmonton came at 'em hard, and absolutely dismantled Dallas.
