The chase for the playoffs (standings, scoreboard watching, and, of course, sagacious commentary)

we just played two top teams which we battled hard and outplayed at times.

Then today We were up 2-0 and tied it up late.

I don’t see indication to give up on this team.

PP is ****, OT play is ****, offense is lacking. We have a big room to grow

Man, look at the March's schedule. The Jackets have hit multiple ceilings are losing points to non PO teams. Offense is lacking and with Seth being out the confidence has taken another dent.

We are only in trouble if we want to feel like we are. I see no problem in likely missing the PO 'this season'.

Positives:

It’s Valentine’s Day. Hope you had a good one.

negatives:

CBJ choked again, fell to WC2 by virtue of games played
CAR won (2 points back, 2 GIH)
PIT won
NYR have re-entered the conversation (7 points back, 2 GIH)

If Toronto (Ottawa, so unlikely) and NYI (Vegas, decent chance) lose tonight then today couldn't have gone better for us around the league.

today the team play. there's no point in talking about other matchup. they need to focus on wining this one by themselves

Sports Club Stats has us at 50%, PHI and CAR each at 69%, and NYI at 87%, for odds to make the playoff cut. We were in the upper 60's a week a go.

I'm not staying up late to watch those games lol. There's still 22 to go. Too early to be spending time watching other games.
