I actually think tavares performed to his contract. He just doesn't have his legs anymore. No sense in resigning him, but his points over his whole contract were worth it imo.

Marner, great player, offensively probably the best we have. Gonna miss his hands. But playoffs is what matters.

Matthews and nylander are locked in, unfortunately.

The entire core 4 is immensely talented and have the point totals in the regular season. They just dont bring it in the playoffs, can't win with them, and god they are so unlikeable. No heart.
