The best part of this game 7 is being here with everyone and knowing I don't have to share the frustration and utter disgust alone. Despite disagreements this is an awsome fanbase and we all deserve far better then this.

Once in a while I come back here. It kills me that theres always posters defending Auston Matthews. Of all the players, Matthews has the most talent but just doesn't give a damn in any important games. As long as he's captain *edit or on the team* , leafs will never have post season success.

Honestly, he's the least of the problem tonight and I've been hard on him.

- let tavares and marner walk
- convince rielly to waive his ntc and trade him
- re-sign Knies on a bridge deal (no NTC/NMC)
- trade kampf/robertson/jankrok
- get new bodies on the team that play hard and do not wuss or fold when going gets tough; you don't need a marner to put 100 points you can have 2 guys put 50 points each for the same cap hit who play the game the right way especially in playoffs
- you have 3 more years of Matthews after this season after that its rebuild time anyway; i don't expect matthews to get any better in the next 2 to 3 years he is gonna regress hopefully he waives in his last year and we can get something in return

P.S. Really disappointed in berube for continuing to force matthews-marner duo when they've absolute SUCKED ASS OFFENSIVELY. Quite pathetic really

f*** man, that might be the most disappointing part of all this. Especially because Nylander can really get Matthews going, they've played together a lot. And so have Marner and Tavares
