Game 3, yes, but at the same time did anyone expect to have a 3-0 series on the Panthers? Stolarz wasn't anything special in the playoffs either.

His original sin was coming out and blowing that 2-0, 3-1 lead for the Leafs and then after battling back, losing it in OT. Team was ready to rock, he was not. Coming out to play after that, good for you but that was a backbreaker of a game the Leafs spent the next 3 recovering from. Tonight is a total loser effort.

Hopefully MLSE have seen this. One playoff game a year pays his buyout cost. I’ve been preaching this for months but all the Rielly lovers here can’t handle the truth.

Once in a while I come back here. It kills me that theres always posters defending Auston Matthews. Of all the players, Matthews has the most talent but just doesn't give a damn in any important games. As long as he's captain *edit or on the team* , leafs will never have post season success.
