Disclaimer - these numbers are approximate, I'm going on memory based on numbers that have been previously posted.

Going into this season, going by the last 5 years (what happened before that doesn't seem like it has much relevance), it goes something like this:

Regular season = ~100 point pace
Playoffs = ~70 point pace
Playoff games 1-4 = ~100 point pace
Playoff games game 5 onwards = 40-45 point pace

Marner has more career playoff points than anyone else on the current roster, 3 points ahead of Nylander.

Seems weird to call the season a success and then say they should change things.

I would run it back but I would try and replace JT with Bennett, sorta like what Tampa did with Stamkos and Guentzel. Get 6 years younger and extend the window a bit more while also progressing in the Treliving mold type of player.

I do. I'm going to be pretty bored tomorrow night, but I will be a hell of a lot happier reading posts about how the Panthers choked and threads previewing a TOR/CAR series than I will be experiencing the fall-out from yet another Game Seven loss by the Maple Leafs.

I am from Sweden we dont have a Victoria day. But I could move to Canada, hockey, friendly people, great nature. Similar to Sweden in many ways. Maby when your neighbour becomes a bit more predictable.
