Hockey players (generally) listen to shitty music. What good pre game tunes could it be?

Because we’ve seen his full range of motion on drives to the net like the Chicago game, the shootout goals in the last 2. He also rang one off the bar earlier on a classic wrister. There’s nothing to suggest he’s hurt whatsoever other than he hasn’t gotten open lately to let it rip.

2 plays through December and 2 weak five hole shots in the shootout > 2 seasons worth of play.

I’m not saying it’s an active injury right now but there’s a reason volume shooters tend to favor the slapshot. Ovi, Kovalchuk, Iginla, Sundin kept up their goalscoring a hell of a lot longer than Kessel or Semin. The only volume shooter I can think of that had a deadly wrist shot into his 30s was Sakic and he didn’t grow up with 80 flex composites. Putting extreme torque on an unsupported joint deliberately held far away from your body isn’t something we were designed to do for decades.

we've played well so far, need some puck luck, stop hitting posts. we've been the better team.

14 shots for Matthews, Nylander and Knies. Surely one more has to go in!
