Bruins incompetent management being exposed
This is the messiest negotiation we've seen in quite a long time
Yet, for the most part, they play 100% of the minutes in the games they play.
Teams turn the screws on players for the first 10 years of their careers and then get weird when a player turns it around on them the first chance he gets. Neely is a fool for breaking publicly.
Do you think only one side leaks info? Both of them are doing it. The mistake was letting it get to this point, and that was a years-long process. And you think GM loves to have stuff being spread around the media and get twisted to make the GMs look bad.
Say what you want about biz, but this dude has sources. He was the first person to say Swayman's agent was about to drop a response and that its gonna get messy
Only Bruins fans thought what Neely did this morning was cool
You aren't wrong. i hate it complete regardless of who started it. There's a reason why Seattle is so tight lipped when it comes to what they are doing. Its to avoid crud like this.Do you think only one side leaks info? Both of them are doing it. The mistake was letting it get to this point, and that was a years-long process.
Maybe, but being that idiotic should probably cost him his job.Neely may have just burned the bridge with his comments

You don't think one of the league's best goalies has any leverage with a team trying to keep their contention window open by either retaining his services or trading him for another impact player?Maybe, but Gross has a client who’s not going to be paid if he doesn’t play and has no leverage to get him moved somewhere else in the short term.
Neely may very well pour gasoline on the burning bridge by letting Swayman sit home and stew, and that’s not great for his career or his agent’s chances of keeping his client.
The reality is nobody is offering anything worthwhile to Boston until next summer, if Swayman does ask out, so there’s no reason to trade him now.
Let’s see if Swayman is willing to burn a year of his career.
and hes laughing all the way to the bank.Maybe it's just me, but it appears to me that Swayman is just begging to have this all blow up in his face...Get big $$$ contract - ends up playing 50 plus games a season - gets worn out/exposed - 3 years from now he's trade bait.
This is all going to end in most predictable fashion: Swayman will sign for $8.25Mx8. Much ado about nothing, really.
