Fantilli and KJ are dynamic together, but they gotta start putting the puck in the net. Vronk is really slowing them down. He seems gassed. Might benefit him to bump him down a line when the Calvary comes back.

Provorov had an awesome game outside of that wet fart of an ending. Keep flip flopping on keeping him or not. I feel like Kurls and Danny farked that up more than him.

We have to have a better option than JJ. He's so brutal out there. Bring up a kid at this point, why not. Cant be any worse. Mateychuk looked good, the play where he blasted up the ice was nice. I didnt know he had that gear.

He gets a lot of shit but he's not as bad as people say and he's just a horse who can eat minutes. This defense will be considerably weaker without him if they don't acquire an immediate replacement.

Nah I agree. It's just the temptation of the return. I think his durability gets way undervalued around here.

The other thing though, do we plan to forever play him on his off side? Porty alluded to him not loving it but not complaining either on his podcast recently.

I get we’re missing bodies but as the home team you can’t put your 4th liners out there against their 3 best players. Unfortunate break but just can’t coach like that 3 on 3. Way too much time and space for skill players against our grind it out type players

What are the circumstances? How long was Fantilli’s last shift? Is he going to be double shifted? With the injuries to the front line, Marchy, Monny, even Jenner I can’t fault the coach, he is looking at who just played, the minutes they played along with matchups. Z in the box with a penalty, then coming off a shift, no I don’t fault the coach at all

Like many of us I go back and forth on whether to extend Provorov. But his durability is a big plus, no doubt. Solid player.

Man I would love to get Gavrikov back. Hopefully Marchy is whispering in his ear.

upon review, he actually did try to pass it. He just whiffed very badly. So yeah, still on Provorov.

I totally disagree on your Voronkov assessment. The line as a whole ge eats the most offensive chances and Voronkov had the most SOG. Now if all you want is to se this line score off the rush and not play any cycle game, then by all means take him off. But that’s not a winning formula.

Voronkov and KJ can cycle and both help Fantilli diversify his game by forcing more controlled OZone play. Of course with Monahan on the top line, the cycle game is SOP and why Monahan with 10-86 was such a dominant 5 on 5 line.

Kuraly was out there for faceoff purposes. Also, they literally won puck possession and would have had a scoring chance (a very good one) if Provorov didn’t miss a 3 inch backhand pass
