When I lived out west it was honestly harder for me to follow the east coast games at 4pm. I'm a nite owl anyway, so now I don't mind staying up late to catch the west coast games.

I don’t mind the late west coast times either. It gives me a doubleheader of hockey. Rangers at 7pm and then Ducks at 10pm. More hockey to enjoy lol.

That would be the Artemi Panarin Award for poster avoiding contact/confrontation, but alas Artemi Panarin is the name of another award already.

I do, but honestly mostly because my GF is still really into them. When I became a STH for them that's what really got her into hockey, so they are her 1st love. I didn't meet her until I lived out west, so she had no Ranger attachment. She did get fired up during these playoffs for the Blueshirts, so that's a good start. She was a huge Gallant fan out in Vegas & thought the owner gave him a raw deal.

I've documented my feelings for Bill Foley in several posts here, so no need to rehash it, but he makes James Dolan sound almost likable. I wasn't disappointed when the VGK missed the playoffs, just put it that way.

The crap Dolan gets for being the owner of the Knicks is more than warranted and that he does come across as a narcissistic jerk.

That said, he doesn't try to hold New York City and the taxpayers hostage for arena upgrades and will threaten to move if the city doesn't give him everything he wants. There are owners in the league that are absolute cheapskates that look at taxpayers like personal ATMs, or others that will use the franchise as a personal tax writeoff while watching the team on ice suck (Karmanos until he sold).
